You might have seen this on the instagram worlds, but I know that some of you are not there, so:

Been elbow deep in fleece!
Processing 5 kilos of fleece from my neighbor’s huge flock, from two types of local sheep breeds.

The most lovely, soft, soothing activity for the cold months ahead.
And got lent a spinning wheel to help the process - I am in love! So much learning going on here.

I almost don’t want to knit with it (just stare!) but yesterday, after having made 4 of these skeins, I’ve finally cast on a little swingy cardigan. Ohh the excitement - and nerves!
