Making a kitchen

Happy spring!

I’ve been saving the following series for when things were kind of ready. And, even though there are still building materials scattered throughout… And this division is currently half kitchen, half mess… Since we’re still working on the bathroom and building a wall indoors, to divde both rooms…

The truth is that I am sitting at my table while a garden soup simmers on the stove for dinner, and the radio is playing from the top of a shelf behind me, and Sam and the little one are both in bed reading a book and I can hear them from I where I stand (oh, the joy of having more than one division in a house!!)… And all of this gives me this beautiful sense of home, and of accomplishment after having been building for so long.

So I’ll just share these pictures, even though things are not completely finished, because in my heart this is it. This is our kitchen.
